Eric is a trial lawyer practicing out of the Portland, Maine office of Thistle Weaver & Morris. Eric first started his legal career at a medium sized law firm in York County, Maine gaining experience in the areas of criminal law and trial practice. Since joining Thistle Weaver & Morris (formerly known as Irwin & Morris) he has continued his litigation practice in the areas of Family Law and Criminal Defense. Eric attended the University of Southern Maine in Portland, Maine, and was a member of the men’s basketball team. He later earned his J.D. from New England School of Law, in Boston, Massachusetts. Eric resides in Gorham, Maine with his wife and three children. When not in the office or in court, Eric can be found enjoying all that Maine has to offer with his wife and kids at the beach, the ski mountain, or exploring the outdoors.

Robb joined the firm after spending a year as law clerk to the Honorable Leigh I. Saufley, Chief Justice of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. His practice focuses on general litigation, appellate work and governmental affairs.
In 2011 Robb graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law where he received the Faculty Significant Achievement Award for his excellent academic performance and significant contributions to the law school community.
While in law school, Robb served as Research Editor on the Ocean and Coastal Law Journal, co-chair of the Moot Court team, and was a legal writing teaching assistant. In addition, Robb completed an externship for Appellate Chief Margaret McGaughey of the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Maine, and competed in the Trilateral Competition, an appellate advocacy competition between the Maine School of Law, Dalhousie Law School, and the University of New Brunswick School of Law.
Prior to law school, Robb worked for several years in the Maine Legislature, serving as policy aide to the House Minority Leader. He has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Maine Orono.

Rob was born and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri. He is an honors graduate of the University of Missouri, at Columbia where he received his undergraduate degree in 1980 and his law degree in 1983. Rob has held a variety of positions over the past three decades of his legal career, including working for top-rated firms in Columbia, St. Louis and Kansas City, Missouri. In 1990 Rob moved to Maine, thereafter working as a partner in litigation firms in Portland and Brunswick.
Rob is a founding member of Thistle Weaver & Morris, which he began in 2003. He currently works primarily as a trial lawyer, with strong emphasis in the area of injury litigation and Workers’ Compensation. Rob is admitted to practice in the Federal and State Courts of Maine and Missouri, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, the Maine and Missouri State Bar Associations and the Cumberland County Bar Association.

Bill is a member of the Maine Employment Lawyer's Association (MELA) and has been a strong advocate for individuals dealing with difficult cases in this challenging area of the law. He has worked as a facilitator and trainer for more than thirty years with Dale Carnegie Training, one of the world's oldest and most respected training organizations. This experience, coupled with his interpersonal skills and legal background, make him an effective mediator, working with individuals, small businesses and their attorneys to find resolutions for tough legal and business issues.
Bill also has vast experience in the area of personal injury law, elder law, and family law. Over the last forty years he has recovered millions of dollars for injured individuals and their families, and has helped clients work through the difficult issues of child custody, visitation and support, property settlements, and spousal support, minimizing negative effects on children while maximizing positive results for his clients. He has also helped many Maine families deal with the challenge of aging parents, finding solutions that ensure the highest quality of life possible for the elderly person while preserving the assets that he or she worked a lifetime to accumulate.
As a small businessman himself, Bill is acutely aware of the challenges that small business owners face every day. Bill currently represents dozens of small business operators, assisting them with business formation of LLCs and other entities, contract negotiations, employee problems, accounts receivable, leases and property acquisition as well as licensing, regulatory and tax issues.

Jackie joined the firm after completing a fellowship at the Maine Community Law Center. Her practice focuses on family law, civil litigation, probate, appellate litigation, and estate planning.
Jackie graduated from the University of Maine School of Law in 2014, where she received the Pro Bono Publico award, recognizing the provision of forty or more hours of free legal services during law school.
Jackie’s interest in the intersection of law and policy led her to earn her Master’s Public Policy and Management at the Muskie School of Public Service. She graduated from Muskie in 2015 with her Master’s in Public Policy and Management, and a certificate in Social Policy Analysis.
Jackie sat for the Maine State Bar Exam in the Spring of 2015, and was awarded the Kenneth R. Clegg Award for obtaining the highest total score on the Maine Bar Examination on an applicant’s first attempt, and the inaugural Laurie A. Gibson Award, for the applicant who obtained the highest score of the essay portion of the Maine Bar Examination.
Prior to law school, Jackie worked at hedge fund in New York City, a medical nonprofit in New York, and at L.L. Bean. She has a B.A. in American Studies, with a concentration in Political Science, from Bard College.

Colton joined Thistle Weaver & Morris in 2017 after clerking with the firm during law school. Colton’s primary offices are in Portland, Augusta, and Newport where his practice focuses on criminal and civil litigation.
In 2017 he graduated cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law. While in law school, Colton practiced as a Student Attorney in the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, counselling clients on criminal, juvenile, family, and civil matters. He also served as an extern with the Maine State Chamber of Commerce, advocating on behalf of Maine Businesses before the 127th Maine State Legislature. Colton graduated from Western New England University in 2014 with a B.S. in Business Administration and a Minor in Economics.

Michelle, a Maine native, returned to her home state and joined the firm after a highly successful twenty-year appellate career as a prosecutor in the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office, in Worcester, Massachusetts. Michelle’s focus is on appellate advocacy.
Prior to joining the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office, Michelle served as a law clerk for the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court. Her first appellate work after this clerkship involved writing an appellate brief in Baccanti v. Morton, a Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court case of first impression where she successfully argued that unvested stock options can be considered marital property subject to division upon divorce.
In her twenty-year career in the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office, Michelle worked on hundreds of appeals involving issues of murder, sexual assault, drugs, animal abuse, assault, and operating under the influence of alcohol and marijuana. She also represented the Commonwealth’s interests at state parole hearings for over 15 years, served as the Office Liaison on the Massachusetts Human Trafficking Task Force, and provided legal training for assistant district attorneys and state and local law enforcement particularly in the area of operating under the influence of alcohol and marijuana. In 2009, Michelle won the prestigious Mothers Against Drunk Drivers, Drive for Life Awards, MADD Hero Award, for her work on two operating under the influence of alcohol cases. In addition, from 2015 to 2017, Michelle worked on a case of first impression before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court successfully arguing that roadside assessments performed to detect marijuana impairment were admissible in operating under the influence prosecutions. As a result of this case, Michelle became a statewide expert on the issue of driving while impaired by marijuana.
Prior to attending law school, Michelle was a co-founder of the Mentor’s in Violence Prevention program at Northeastern University’s Center for the Study of Sport in Society, an internationally renowned Gender Violence Prevention program, and currently lectures at Northeastern University in the College of Professional Studies on the issue of gender-based violence. She also taught legal research and writing at New England Law-Boston for over 20 years.

Prior to joining Thistle Weaver & Morris, Jaime was associated with a law firm in Lewiston for six years. Jaime is a member of the York County Bar Association and Maine Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Kayleigh is a graduate of the University of Maine School of Law where she received the Faculty Award in Trial Advocacy. Kayleigh’s law school coursework focused on family law and her thesis analyzed the issue of pet custody in Maine divorce cases. During law school, Kayleigh worked for the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office as a student attorney, where she argued on behalf of the State before Maine’s highest court and prevailed. Kayleigh also served as President of the Student Bar Association, Chair of the Women’s Law Association, and Chair of the Maine Association for Public Interest Law.
Prior to law school, Kayleigh graduated from the George Washington University with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Political Science. Outside of the office, Kayleigh can be found hiking with her dog, golfing, or skiing.

Trey is a litigator practicing out of the Portland, Maine office of Thistle Weaver & Morris. He grew up in New Limerick, Maine, and attended high school at the Maine School of Science and Mathematics. Afterward, Trey studied at Champlain College in Burlington, VT, where he was elected to serve in the Student Government Association before graduating summa cum laude with his Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Cybersecurity. After graduating, Trey moved home to Maine to pursue a J.D. from The University of Maine School of Law, where his work as a student attorney ignited his passion for criminal defense.
When out of the office, Trey can be found biking around Portland, exploring the Maine woods, playing board games, or serving on the Board of the Maine School of Science and Mathematics.
